Nintendo Switch Version to Get Free Update with All New Cards and Content


EL SEGUNDO, CALIF. – March 3, 2020 – Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution, the most comprehensive Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) in franchise history will launch as a digital exclusive from the PlayStation Store, XBOX ONE Marketplace, and Steam Store on March 24 at SRP $39.99.

Duelists already playing on Nintendo Switch will receive all the new content as a free downloadable update on March 24*.

Based on the official Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG, Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution allows Duelists to construct their own Decks from a selection of more than 10,000 cards, the most in any Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG video game. Creating a tailored experience for Duelists of all experience levels and those who are familiar with the six animated Yu-Gi-Oh! series, will relive more than 20 years of Yu-Gi-Oh! history, tapping into some of the most iconic storylines from the shows.

Key features in Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution include:

· Dueling strategies ascend to new heights with over 900 brand-new cards, now totaling over 10,000 cards from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game!

· New characters from Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS joins the Dueling fray including Varis, Emma, Lightning, and more!

· Experience all new Duels and story content from the entire Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS animated series!

· All original and DLC content from Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist along with the latest post-patch update, will be all-inclusive in the PlayStation 4, XBOX ONE, and Steam versions of Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duel Link Evolution.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! series is based on the manga Yu-Gi-Oh! (by Kazuki Takahashi), which was serialized in Shueisha, Inc.'s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1996 and is now on the sixth iteration of the “Yu-Gi-Oh!” animated series (currently airing on TV Tokyo-affiliated channels).
