The first volume of Toyotarō and Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball Super manga ranked at #2 on Nielsen BookScan's Top 20 list for May.
This month's list featured 12 manga volumes, including:
- #4 — Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia volume 8
- #6 — Akira Himekawa's The Legend of Zelda: Legendary Edition volume 4
- #9 — Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan volume 21 (ranked at #9 last month)
- #11 — Ukyō Kodachi and Mikie Ikemoto's Boruto volume 1 (ranked at #2 last month)
- #13 — Sui Ishida's Tokyo Ghoul volume 12 (ranked at #3 last month)
- #14 — Himekawa's The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess volume 1 (ranked at #6 last month)
- #15 — Ishida's Tokyo Ghoul volume 1 (ranked at #11 last month)
- #16 — OKAYADO's Monster Musume volume 11 (ranked at #10 last month)
- #17 — Himekawa's The Legend of Zelda: Legendary Edition volume 3 (ranked at #8 last month)
