Gung Ho Online Entertainment revealed last Friday that it will release a smartphone app titled "Pazudora Radar" this spring. The app will have GPS-based gameplay that is "integrated into daily life." In the app, players can collect "descent dungeons" and "guerilla dungeons." Players will be able to collect "drops" that they can find in their vicinity to gain access to more monsters and dungeons.
Gung Ho Online Entertainment had also revealed on Friday that the Puzzle & Dragons X ("Pazudora Cross") Nintendo 3DS puzzle role-playing game will ship on July 28 in Japan in two versions: "Kami no Shō" (God Chapter) and "Ryū no Shō" (Dragon Chapter). The game is also getting a television anime adaptation by Studio Pierrot that will premiere on July 4.
Gung Ho Online Entertainment released the original Puzzle & Dragons game for mobile devices in Japan in February 2012. The game franchise series previously spawned the Puzzle & Dragons Z and Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Brothers Edition games for Nintendo 3DS. Nintendo released both Nintendo 3DS games in the West as a bundle last May.
