Kia Asamiya artwork to be auctionned at MegaCon

Charity auction to feature original artwork from Asamiya and others.

An original Batman and the Joker piece by Kia Asamiya will be auctionned off at a a fund-raising comic art auction at the Orlando MegaCon this coming weekend. Mr. Asamiya, who is currently illustrating the Japane Manga version of Batman, drew the piece in honor of Jerry Robinson, the creator of the Joker.
The auction is being organized by ACTOR, (A Commitment To Our Roots) a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping out old-time comic creators in financial trouble. The auction will be held at 6:30 PM on Saturday, March 3rd, in room 212 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
In addition to Mr. Asamiya's works, other works by other top comic industry artists will also be auctionned off. Mr. Asamiya has also donated signed copies of his Image Comics' manga series Dark Angel: Phoenix Resurrection.
