The official website for the television anime of Naru Narumi's Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san (Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles) manga revealed on December 25 that the anime will have 12 episodes. The anime's Japanese Blu-ray Disc and DVD release will be in two volumes, each containing six episodes of the show. The volumes will ship in Japan on March 28 and May 30, respectively.
The series will premiere on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. on AT-X. It will also air the same night at 10:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX and 1:00 a.m. on BS-11, as well as the night of Saturday, January 6 on MBS. Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs in Japan.
The gourmet comedy follows the daily life of Koizumi, a high school girl who looks like a cool beauty at first glance, but actually has an unexpected side of her that loves ramen.
Kenji Setō (both seasons of The Asterisk War: The Academy City on the Water) is directing the series at Studio Gokumi (Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn, Kinmoza! Kiniro + Mosaic) and AXsiZ (Wagamama High Spec, Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn). Tatsuya Takahashi (Eromanga Sensei, And you thought there is never a girl online?) is handling the series composition, and Takuya Tani (Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn) is designing the characters.
